On an 11 kW home wall box, a full charge from near-empty takes between seven and eleven hours depending on pack size. Most owners charge to 80 percent overnight rather than to full.
Every charge figure on this site refers to 10 to 80 percent at a compatible high-power charger, with the battery already at operating temperature. Below about five degrees ambient, expect the time to roughly double unless the car has been preconditioning en route.
Regular rapid charging accelerates degradation slightly. The warranty does not distinguish between charging methods, and the pack management system limits current automatically as cells age.
Every two years or 30,000 km, whichever comes first. There is no oil change; the interval covers brake fluid, cabin filter, coolant condition, and a software audit.
Yes. Service documentation, torque figures, and diagnostic protocols are published rather than licensed. Battery module replacement is included in that documentation.
A single module is replaced rather than the whole pack. Recovered modules go to stationary storage where they are usable well below automotive capacity thresholds.
The vehicle warranty runs four years with no mileage limit. The battery warranty runs eight years or 160,000 km and guarantees 70 percent of original usable capacity.
